We’re kicking off our new #CelebrityHousefax Series just in time for Super Bowl LI by featuring NFL Legend, John Elway. Where does a 2-time Super Bowl winner call home? You might expect a multi-million dollar mountain retreat, or Texas-size ranch on the Colorado plains. But actually, Elway, one of Colorado’s biggest sports celebrities, lives in the Cherry Hills neighborhood in Englewood, CO.
John Elway was the quarterback for the Denver Broncos from 1983 until he retired in 1998. Playing his entire professional career with the Broncos, he led the team to six AFC Championship Games and TWO Super Bowl victories. Elway was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2004 in his first year of eligibility.
Elway is the current executive vice president of football operations and general manager of the Denver Broncos. He also owns a string of car dealerships in Colorado and stays involved with his non-profit organization, the Elway Foundation.
So where does he hang his hat at the end of a busy day? Amazingly, Elway still lives in the house he bought more than 20 years ago, which has a surprisingly cozy feel (check out the pictures below). As befits a football legend, his home is teeming with trophies, awards and photos commemorating his illustrious career.
